Chairman of Caravel Partners Ltd. and CEO of Caravel Partners (Zambia) Ltd. Ben commenced his offshore career in Dubai 1996 and in 1997 opened one of the first Advisory offices in Azerbaijan. He then started working for himself and was the first-ever offshore consultant in Kazakhstan.

Moving from Kazakhstan to Russia in 1999, he founded ‘DVA’ in Moscow, growing it into the biggest offshore brokerage in Eastern Europe before selling the business in 2009, when he left Russia. Ben has also worked in Africa (Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia as well as Zambia) and China, with various periods also spent in three Gulf countries.

Ben has three decades’ offshore wealth management experience, from font-line sales to business start-up to successful operation and exit. Resident in Zambia from June 2023, Ben was educated at Queens’ College, Cambridge and holds a BA Hons & MA in History; he also is a graduate of Britannia, Royal Naval College in Dartmouth.
